You may remember Kathleen McElwaine, who we profiled on our blog last month, and whom we affectionately refer to as the “bus painting lady.” She bides her time on the 983 from Leander to UT painting beautiful watercolors. (Some of her handpainted greeting cards of wildflowers are now for sale in the gift shop at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.)
Kathleen is making the switch from bus to train, and she rode the 7:10 train out of Leander on Monday morning. Here she is starting her first train painting.
And here, dear readers, is her first painting of the train!
