Celebrate your freedom from congestion and pricey parking this Independence Day by taking transit to the Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks at the Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores).
Capital Metro can get you closer to the action! We’ll be operating “Saturday level” service on Monday, July 4th, and service options will include MetroBus, MetroRapid and MetroRail. For those who wish continue their celebrations on 6th Street, Night Owl buses will run on their normal schedules, every 20 to 30 minutes, from midnight to 3 a.m., with all routes departing from 6th and Congress.

It’s simple: just buy your transit pass on the app and hop on. You won’t need exact change. As always, children ages five and under with an accompanying adult, and emergency and military personnel in uniform ride free of charge.
