Why can’t the Austin Marathon run on the East side or the wealthy old west side of town? Why do we bus riders have to suffer? What has Capital Metro management done to speak in opposition to these street closures?

    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

It’s time you do, but most Capital Metro employees don’t ride the service that there work provides. Ever seen Linda Stephenson Watson on the bus with passengers? She promised before being elected to serve as CEO that she would, and to this day she hasn’t kept her promise.

Where is the accountability here? Reminds me of the guy occupying the White House who by the way, hasn’t signed up for his signature health plan.

I wonder how Walton-Finn would have managed the transit agency?

Linda you had been at your command post for 4 years, I have not seen you once ride a Metrobus in service with passengers on it.

The CEOS of Target, and Costco stop by and chat with customers and employees using and spending money on the services they work for.

This is a valid point. The recklessness and negligence of Capital Metro is showing. You promised us a transparent transit agency and yet still fail to deliver.

We will remember this with our vote on your Project Connect.
Don’t be surprised that it will not pass.

I have a couple of questions, I have to repost since my comments were censored like Benghazi.

What is Capital Metro doing to prevent massive street closures from occurring where bus service and people’s job’s suffer along with their income?

Are they attending or writing City Council and the Mayor and suggesting that detours shouldn’t be happening just downtown suggesting these Marathons, Parades, etc be moved to Tarrytown, or East Austin instead of Downtown where bus detours won’t be significantly impacted?

And it is public knowledge before the CEO of Capital Metro was appointed
that Linda Stevenson Watson was quoted that “she will ride the bus”?

To this day she has not been on a bus with passengers on it, at least to my knowledge.

Has she rode the bus with passengers on it asking passengers what there feelings were about Capital Metro, and what can we do to improve service?

I cut and copied my comments in case you decide to delete them, because I real repost them, and if I am blocked I will bypass the block and repost it.
