Fall 2010 service changes

The proposal for fall 2010 service changes is “out on the street,” and a series of public meetings begin tonight to talk with riders about the changes. The proposal includes the first batch of recommended changes outlined in ServicePlan2020. If approved by the Capital Metro Board on April 26, the changes would take effect Aug. 22 of this year.   1. There’s one stunning bit of chutzpath in this service change: riders losing service on the #9 are advised to take the #21/#22, which is, of course, proposed for elimination in ServicePlan 2020 as well (probably in the next service change).
